Event Cancellation by Ambrosia Events, Inc.
- All events must comply with the Ambrosia Events, Inc. Terms of Service. If an event doesn’t meet the standards set forth, Ambrosia reserves the right to cancel an event and/or take actions to remove your account from the Platform.
Payments
- Organizer Payouts Policy: For general payouts the current payout schedule is approximately 3-5 business days after your event begins. Early Payouts are available to organizers on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at support@ambrosia.events
- Chargebacks Policy: In the event of a chargeback, organizers will be responsible for providing timely documentation to Stripe. Payment disputes or chargebacks will result in a $15.00 fee per chargeback transaction plus platform and credit card processing fees which will be deducted from the event payout or charged to the organizer. When countering a dispute, Stripe also charges a $15.00 fee which is returned if the dispute is won by the organizer.

Event Cancellation Policies by Organizer
- Event Cancellation Policies for attendees
- By default, events on Ambrosia have a “no refunds” policy. For maximum flexibility, Organizers are able to write their own cancellation policy. In order to exercise these policies, they must be clearly stated to attendees by adding them to a custom Terms of Service or directly stating it on the Event details page.
- Types of Event Cancellation
- Events with no confirmed attendees
- An organizer can easily cancel an event with no confirmed attendees by going to their Event settings. This event will be archived. This action cannot be undone.
- Events with confirmed attendees
- When an organizer needs to cancel an event, they may have a Terms of Service in place to define the refund terms in a cancellation situation. Ambrosia will abide by the cancellation of the organizer unless it violates the Ambrosia Events, Inc Terms of Service. Regardless of the agreement, the following things occur:
- Ambrosia refunds attendees based on the organizers cancellation policy (including applicable platform and credit card fees)
- Organizers assume the costs of cancellation (must pay Ambrosia platform fees and credit card fees for attendees)
Liability Waivers
By default, there are no Organizer Liability Waivers attached to an event. Organizers have the ability to attach their own Liability Waivers to an event that attendees must agree to prior to purchasing a ticket or making a reservation.
Terms of Service
By default, there are no Organizer Terms of Service attached to an event. Organizers have the ability to attach their own Terms of Service to an event that attendees must agree to prior to purchasing a ticket or making a reservation.
