
Join our immersive workshop in Nevada City this summer! We will be expanding the E-wok village at the Banner Mountain Queer Commune! Come and get hands-on experience building a tree supported structure and a zip-line across a glorious pond ! Each workshop will be 3 nights / 4 days and will include theoretical lessons with practical application. Come build community while learning the skills and tools you’ll need to brings your treehouse ideas to life. This course is designed for outdoor enthusiasts, DIY homeowners, aspiring builders, and anyone who loves trees!

Photogrammetry and LiDAR 3D Scans: Learn to use cutting-edge technology for capturing accurate 3D representations of trees and environments, enhancing planning and design processes.
Treehouse Design Considerations: Explore the principles of treehouse design, including aesthetics, functionality, and how to harmonize structures with their natural surroundings.
Engineering Fundamentals: Gain insights into the engineering aspects of treehouses, including load distribution, structural integrity, and material selection.
Safety Protocols: Familiarize yourself with industry-standard safety practices to ensure a secure working environment during construction and maintenance.
Hands-on Experience: Acquire practical skills in using specialty tools for installing tree hardware, zip-lines, Net Lounge anchors, and suspension cables.
Structural Framing Techniques: Learn essential framing techniques that ensure the stability and durability of treehouses, adapting to the unique challenges of building in trees.
Rigging Skills: Master rigging techniques for safely lifting and positioning materials during construction, ensuring both safety and efficiency.
