“House of Fates” is a theatre production company based in Nevada County since 2021.
We’re a collective of multidisciplinary artists who come together to write stories and bring them to life.
Our previous works include “Persephone’s Tale“, “Gold Can’t Love You Back” and you might’ve caught us in character on occasion around our beloved town of Nevada City.
In 2024 we’re embarking on a new artistic journey: Storytelling through the art of dance theater.
“Anima” means the unconscious part of our minds that works without introspection or awareness, it also refers to the feminine aspect present in the collective unconscious of men.
With “Anima” we tell the story of a man's journey through the crippling labyrinth of addiction.
An invitation to explore society’s morals around desire and intimacy.
Based on a true story, we hereby invite you to reflect on our collective human experience of isolation and individualism in our ever evolving world. Our character’s universal and timeless dilemmas prompts us to interrogate our own relationship to what is considered moraly correct. Will our character find redemption amidst the shadows of his past?
Join us on a compelling odyssey of self-discovery, as “Anima” unveils the fragility of our inner dialogue, the power of hope, and the beauty of redemption.
